I'm really terrible about updating my journal here, sorry.

So I was going through all my old cosplay pictures, and thinking 'gosh these costumes are so bad, I should delete these!', but then I thought..noone wakes up one day and is suddenly good at sewing and painting, it takes time and practice. SO I like having my progress over the years up on my page. =D

I've got some new projects in the work, but i'm also going to be branching into themed non-cosplay costume shoots, so look out for those.

I've been to Ikkicon, and A-kon this year, both were..okay, next up is Afest or San Japan, depending.


Over 8,000 views now, that's exciting, thank you everyone!

Wonderful cosplays!!! I specially loved the Hikaru Shodou one because you really made it great and you gave life to my favourite character from Rayearth ^^

Definately! What other cons do you go to, I'm trying to get out of Texas for a con, but I'm never sure what con will, and will not suck.

Well, a con that is a lot closer to you than something up in my area is ACen, which I had a blast at several years ago. There's also Ohayocon, but that's primarily a "hang out with friends" con. The two conventions in my area that I'd recommend are Anime USA and Otakon. They're probably my two favourites. There's also Katsucon, but I wouldn't chance it this year since there's a lot of drama over their new location, and Nekocon, which I personally LOVE but is very small and probably not worth your trip. If you'd ever want to go to the west coast, I've heard REALLY good things about Fanime. I'm hoping to make it out there this spring. AX was fun, too, but only because it was in Anaheim [it's moved elsewhere since I went].
